CCN1 + 2 Appliances Training and Assessment

This course is for gas operatives who hold ACS competency in CCN1 and two appliances, and wish to renew their competency.

What do I learn?
You cover the following topics:
• installation of pipework and fittings
• emergency procedures
• unsafe situations
• flueing standards and testing
• tightness testing
• re-establishing gas supplies
• operation and checking of safety devices and controls
• ventilation
• checking and setting appliance burner pressures and gas rates
• installation, commissioning and maintenance information on the gas appliances you require

This course is delivered over four days. You spend two days doing theory and practical work in the classroom and the workshop, and two days doing the assessment. The assessment consists of four multiple-choice papers and a practical assessment.
What do I gain?
With this refresher course you gain a full understanding of British standards for gas safety installations, and regulations and procedures which help you to gain CCN1 Accreditation plus two appliances.
What do I need?
You will need to already hold ACS competency in CCN1 with less than 6 months before renewal is due
What do I gain?
Following successful completion you could apply for Gas Safe registration.
