Heat Pumps Systems - Inspection and Maintenance (full course)

This heat pump course is for experienced plumbers and heating engineers who are QCF-qualified in heat pump installation. If you need full revision and training so you can get QCF accrediatation and service/maintain heat pump systems, this course is for you.

What do I learn?
This course covers the inspection, servicing and maintenance of heat pump systems in accordance with the new QCF framework qualification.

Assessment is by online multiple-choice exam paper-based exam and practical assessments.

A training manual which accompanies the course will be sent out to you 3-4 weeks prior to attendance and you will be expected to self study in preparation for the assessments. This course consists of 1.5 days of revision in the classroom and practical training in the workshop by a skilled tutor. You are assessed in the classroom and in the workshop for the remainder of the course.
What do I gain?
This heat pump course is recognised by the current Microgeneration Certification Schemes - it meets the requirement for appropriate training in solar thermal technology. Successful completion of the training and assessment provides suitably-qualified individuals with training evidence when applying for registration on a Microgeneration Certification Scheme that allows self-certification. It also acts as notification to Building Control Departments of work completed.
What do I need?
You need to have successfully completed the QCF Level 3 Award in Heat Pumps Installation before attending this course.
What do I gain?
This course leads to a Level 3 award within the Qualifications and Credit Framework. Also this training has been mapped to National Occupational Standards which means you receive the most beneficial and industry-relevant training possible. Upon completion of this course you can progress to Level 3 awards in other environmental technologies.
