Developing Woodwork Skills

This course is run in 5 week sessions throughout the academic year on Thursday evenings between 6.30 and 9pm. This course is aimed at students with experience in furniture making – students with little or no experience of furniture making should attend the Tuesday class: Introduction to Woodwork Skills.

Please note that this course does not run during the half term/end of term breaks.

What do I learn?
Students can join at the beginning of any 5-week session. In each block of teaching you should gain distinct skills and make progress towards a viable outcome.

Attendance at more than one 5-week session provides an opportunity to experience a broader range of skills and produce a more complex outcome.
What do I gain?
On this course you develop your woodworking skills through workshop practice.
What do I need?
This course is aimed at students with experience in furniture making; students with little or no experience of furniture making should attend the Tuesday class: Introduction to Woodwork Skills.
What can I do next?
