Developing Woodwork Skills

The course is run in 5 week sessions throughout the academic year on Thursday evenings between 6.30 and 9pm. The course will focus on developing skills in the use of hand tools in the production of projects that you can take away.

What do I learn?
Each block of classes will focus on a different project allowing students to attend multiple blocks. Previous projects have included a chopping board and a small stool and you may be interested in visiting the tutor's YouTube page:

Attendance at more than one 5-week session provides an opportunity to experience a broader range of skills and produce a more complex outcome.

On this course you develop your woodworking skills through workshop practice.
What do I need?
You just need to have an interest in making work in wood!
What can I do next?
