Painting and Decorating Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship

If your plan is to pursue a career working within the construction industry focusing on painting and decorating then this could be the course for you. This advanced level course is designed to give you a broader base of knowledge and experience to prepare you for working within the painting and decorating trade.

What do I learn?
You spend one day a week in college participating in classroom and practical-based sessions. The other four days are spent working in the workplace putting what you have learned into practice.

At college you learn both in the classroom and the workshops. You then take the skills you have learned out to the workplace where you are expected to bring work-based evidence and build a portfolio.

An assessor will visit your work place to observe your working practices. All functional skills will be delivered at college within your day release.
What do I gain?
You will build the advanced knowledge required to carry out many painting and decorating tasks. It will teach you more skilled techniques to enable you to progress within the industry.
What do I need?
You should have completed the Painting and Decorating Intermediate Apprenticeship before progressing on to this course. After applying you will be invited for an initial assessment to ensure that you are at the right level of learning and that the course is right for you.
What do I gain?
This apprenticeship provides you with an excellent foundation from which to progress your career, whether you work for an established firm or decide to become self-employed.
