Pre CSCS (preparation and training)

CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is demanded as proof of competence in the industry, often requested by organisations, employers, clients and government organisations.

The Pre-CSCS course covers a wide range of health and safety topics to improve safety and productivity on site. It prepares you for taking the CSCS exam.

What do I learn?
You learn about:
• the Health & Safety at Work Act
• risk assessments
• RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013)
• COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002)
• signs
• fire prevention

This is a classroom based course. Handouts are included.
What do I gain?
Successful completion means you gain a Level 1 Health and Safety Certificate, and can sit the CSCS exam.

CSCS increases your opportunities for working on construction sites.
What do I need?
To apply for this training course you need a basic knowledge of construction.
