If you want to combine creativity with providing great customer service, a career in hair and beauty could be just right for you. 

We can train you to become an industry-ready stylist or beauty therapist. Related careers include: barber, technician, creative director, salon manager and teacher/trainer/assessor.

With us, you will develop both your technical and employability skills, while offering a wide range of treatments to paying customers in our salons. You will also benefit from masterclasses run by guest therapists and take part in local events and competitions. 

We also offer evening and weekend courses for anyone keen to explore this exciting area in a fun, hands-on environment.

When retail assistant Miranda Labaurn decided in her mid-twenties that she needed a change of direction, a career in beauty therapy appealed to her. Fast forward to 2014, and after just two years Miranda is now a full-time beauty therapist at the brand new £6m Oxford Lifestyle Centre.

Having finished school without a clear idea of what to do next, Miranda worked in retail for a few years. However, by her mid 20s she felt she was stuck in a rut.

Miranda said: “I had always been interested in beauty and pampering, from nails to massage and everything in between. I just didn’t know how to get into this career, and I didn’t want to lose my financial independence.” Read more >>
